When I decided to start a diary painting, I was only following my instinct. The concrete idea about how to approach the project only arrived later on.
I treated the painting I have yet to complete as an empty room with blank moments for me to fill in, one blank unit a day. The content is my life in the past. Each day I created a work based on my feelings and mood of the day. If I hadn?t done any work, the canvas stayed blank. The whole set contains the days in a year, 366.
